Possibly due to anxiety. Worrying about today, the past, and tomorrow. Worried that you will always worry.
Feeling depressed. Feelings of hopelessness and despair. Unmotivated. Sad. Teary. As if the weight is too much to carry. Giving yourself negative self-messages which lead to feeling guilt and/or shame.
Or you have experienced life events that are unresolved and currently affect your quality of life. Your work life. Your school life. Your social life and relationships.
I too have experienced anxiety and depression. Life as a child was challenging and I often felt no one would understand. So I felt alone with my thoughts and feelings.
When I went to college, I was in a human development course which began to peak my interest. It encouraged me to begin exploring people and why we are the way we are. I began to explore my own life. Then: the professor wrote on one of my assignments, “You do not have to repeat the past”. I was hooked. I knew then that I wanted to assist people in creating the life they wanted without being weighed down by life events, or biological circumstances. Rather, to feel hopeful and find new approaches for dealing with their thoughts and emotions.
My life experiences and trainings have given me the tools to help people feel calm, confident, and inspired. Resolving symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. Over the past 28 years I have focused on learning skills to assist people in healing and finding hope. Together with the client, we identify the core of the issue and work together on creating a treatment plan that is solution-focused. I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and EMDR. Offering expertise and support.
My work with people has proven that with a trained expert, you can learn the right tools, find new approaches, and you can begin to feel better.
Call today and let’s discuss how I can begin assisting you in Living for Today, Heal From the Past, and Feel Inspired for Tomorrow.
